Why a Solidscape User Group ( SUG )
The management of Solidscape have long recognized the value of a user group but also believed that it should be an independent organization.
In recent months a number of experienced users have discussed the idea and with the blessing and support of Solidscape, made a commitment to get things started with an electronic forum open to owners of the Solidscape or Sanders technologies.
In the coming months, with the help of volunteers who will moderate the forum, we hope to create a charter, elect officers and establish the group's by-laws. Interest has also been expressed in a SUG E-Newletter, and a conference meeting to coincide with the JCK Las Vegas show in 2010.
With the launch of the new website, SUG members will benefit in many ways beginning with the electronic forum to discuss how this technology contributes to their business. Members will also benefit from special pricing on SUG products and services from both Solidscape and third party vendors.
I am please to announce the first SUG product available is the release of MagicsBijoux by Materialise. A software tool conceived and developed as a tightly integrated companion to your Modelworks program, MagicsBijoux can significantly reduce CAD time and increase the productivity of your Solidscape printer.
